3:35pm Meeting was called to order by President Francis Wardle. Attendance was taken.

New guest, Wendy, and all attendees introduced themselves. No Treasurer report was available; general status of the account and accounting were discussed.
General report and discussion regarding chapter involvement of Iracambi project. Ron can visit & discuss Partners relationships with them. Mary indicated that they need to maintain connections with both the MG partners, as well as the Colorado chapter. Francis offered that the MG partners could travel to Iracambi. Linda discussed that this issue is on two levels – first is the emotional/cultural relationship and second is the grant uses and sources. Nadja requested general discussion on the mechanics of the Farmer-to-Farmer grant and expressed a concern that Iracambi is more connected with its own community. Mary set expections that connections with MG chapter would be established and that Iracambi continued to need help. Ron again raised his offer to assist with the possibility of his taking on a travel grant to Iracambi. Francis also discussed his hope that we will get more national office support and involvement with our chapter for the Iracambi project. Mary added that Iracambi has been a long term project of our chapter. Ron remains interested in travel to support membership and business concerns with Iracambi. Francis voiced his support of Ron expedite such communications.
Linda raised questions of how the Chapter would like her to begin the membership database. The group indicated its support to use Excel. Mary offered to continue maintaining the contacts list for email purposes.
A general discussion was held regarding plans for the upcoming visit by Acyr to the leadership conference, then to Colorado. Francis will host Acyr and finalize plans; Ron, Mary and Roger & Betty may also be able to host.
Francis raised the topic of the Chapter’s website, and what is available at both the national and local levels for support. He will follow-up with the website committee through emails. A general discussion also indicated that the website needed to include membership info and contact information.
Steve updated the chapter on the planning of the travel of the Greeley Children’s Chorale to Minas Gerais. He reported the Chorale’s parents are ‘on board’ and the concept has been tentatively approved. The trip is currently planned for June, 2005. 40 are expected to participate. November, 2005 would be the reciprocal visit. Arte Miuda is interested in coming here. Families would host each other, with one week for the visit to each state and one week at the convention. The Mayor of Diamantina has offered to provide bus service from the airport to the city. Francis noted that full travel insurance is needed. Steve will submit a grant request for the travel.
The meeting adjourned at 4:45pm, and moved into casual fellowship with no further business.
