Partners of the Americas Quarterly Meeting

Present:

Francis called the meeting to order at 3pm.

Minutes from the June meeting were approved

Regarding rechartering:
Steve will ask Jon to send email to Dennis Shaw to update requirements for rechartering.

Steve reported on his trip to Minas in July. He played for over 1400 people in concerts across Minas.

Mary Pierce reported on the costs to mount a Minas-Colorado display at DIA.
Francis encouraged members to go to the POA website to log volunteer time. This log will assist POA as they write grants and claim in-kind match for funding.

Bette and Roger will attend the POA International Conference in Guatemala and encouraged others to join them.

Francis reported that we will be receiving an artist from Minas in late November and requested assistance in providing accommodations and developing the program for the visit.

Francis reported that Luzia Lisita’s fellowing with the CDC has been approved.

The group adjourned and Steve played for the members.

The next meeting will be at Roger’s and Bette’s in Greeley on December 5th
